Motivation Monday - Is anything too hard for God?

“I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world.  Is anything too hard for me?”

Jeremiah 32:27

Laying in bed I played over this last year in my mind.  So many people were creating year in review highlight reels on instagram and I wondered to myself, what would I post?  This past year had many blessings, unexpected trips, healing and also a lot of hard things.  Even though I create content for others, my own posts were definitely few and far between.

Have you ever had a season like that?  Where it’s difficult to share anything, because even though something good might have happened, the context for the blessing is too complicated to share with the general public.

These thoughts led me to think about God and how He was with me every step of the way, through the blessings and the sorrow, the joy and the pain.  The whole year was filtered through His hands and He is sovereign over all.

Reading Jeremiah 32:27 I was reminded of this.

“I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world.  Is anything too hard for me?”

He is Lord, God of all the peoples of the world. He is a big God and He cares for me, even the tiny details.

And the second part of the verse gave me pause to think and ask is anything too hard for God? This question comes up again and again in the Bible.  Is there anything too hard for God?

The answer is always no! NOTHING is too hard for God!

So although I never did create a highlight reel I am looking ahead to this coming year and the direction God is sending me with excitement. Comforted by the fact that it might seem hard for me, but nothing is too hard for God.

I don’t know what lies ahead this year, but I know the God who has already planned it out and nothing is impossible for Him.
